Care of BioThane® webbing with UV print
BioThane® straps with UV printing are easy to care for but require proper use to maintain the aesthetics and durability of the print for as long as possible.
Cleaning
- Everyday cleaning – simply wipe the strap with a damp cloth and dry it.
- Heavier dirt – rinse the strap under running water and gently remove dirt with your fingertips. Do not use brushes, abrasive sponges, or sharp tools.
What to avoid?
- Avoid friction against the ground – the strap should not be dragged or let loose on hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt, paving stones, etc.).
- Do not use strong chemicals – bleaches, vinegar, alcohol, acetone, hydrogen peroxide, glues, and other aggressive preparations.
- Do not machine wash – this may damage the print, the strap, and washing machine components.
Natural wear of the print
UV printing on BioThane® webbing may slightly crack, wear off, or chip locally over time, especially in areas exposed to bending, abrasion, and intensive use. This is a natural effect of using material with UV printing.

Signs of print wear resulting from daily use, friction against the ground, material bending, or improper care do not constitute a product defect or grounds for a complaint.
